Pages, Numbers and etc keep crashing on my new MacBook Air

I have only had my new 2020 M1 MacBook Air for two weeks, but since then I have no luck with getting Pages, Numbers and related apps by Apple running. Every time I click to open the apps, they will immediately shut down/crash.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling to but to no avail -- the result is always the same. This is what shows up:

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2

Update the operating system to macOS 11.4, and visit each of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote in the Mac App Store and determine if they offer an update to v11.1. Once all updates are complete, reboot your Mac.
