Keychain appears compromised in Data Leak

All 311 passwords were apparently involved in a data leak- is keychain the issue? Are the passwords not safe? Just wondering what needs changing and why a few other friends allegedly had every single one of their passwords leaked too.

Judging only by your post, extensive password re-use is a likely culprit.
