Keynote

Why is it, when I export a file from keynote to pptx, the font changes.

(1) the one opening the file have also installed the same font

(2) my colleague who uses keynote too, did this (create in keynote, export as pptx) and her fonts (same fonts) did not change even though she exported it to pptx.

Check that the font to be used is installed correctly on the Mac, using the Font Book application, located in the applications folder. Click on All Fonts to see an alphabetical list

If you have PowerPoint on your Mac, test if you can use that font on a text box in PowerPoint
