How do I turn of the two-factor authentication on my apple phone?

If your Apple ID is new then two-factor is enabled and cannot be disabled, or if your Apple ID is older and two-factor authentication has been enabled for more than two weeks two-factor cannot be disabled. If your Apple ID is older and recently enabled two-factor and is within the two weeks, then use the mail message from enabling two-factor to disable it.

Two Factor Authentication is in place for security reasons, without it hackers have the power to track and erase your phone, and access personal data. Once enabled, it can not be turned off.
