when i go into system preferences system updates is not in there so i go on app store and it says no updates avalible, but it won't let me download any apps as it says it needs the newer version of 10.14 or newer and says i am currently using version os x 10.10.5, this is very irritating and have only had this macbook for a couple of weeks but i have some work i have to do and safari is not letting me open pages as it says updates needed!

Are there any AntiVirus, Disk Cleaner, Optimizers, Defrag, VPNs etc installed which should be removed as per Developers Instructions. They are useless, unneeded, cause havoc and interfere with the normal operation of the OS and may even Corrupt the OS requiring a Reinstallation.
