Apple Watch Series 3 Factory reset

Hi


I have message ‘Too many passcode attempts.. Reset watch and pair again’


I have already reset factory settings by erasing all content and forced a restart however I continue to get above error msg.


My watch is not paired with my phone at the moment.


Any help appreciated.
