How do I delete emails from the server on Iphone

“The server” almost certainly means your email service provider’s server. We are asked to guess who this provider might be.

The probable answer (if you use IMAP as your email method) is to delete the emails on your iPhone and then delete them from your trash.

In that case, your best course of action is to use your email service provider’s webmail (if one exists) to remove the emails from their server.

We still don’t know who that service provider is. Presumably your address is of the form xxxxx@yyyyy.com. What’s the yyyyy part?

• Open Settings
• Tap on Mail
• Tap on Accounts
• Tap on the account that you use for mail
• Does it say IMAP or POP at the top?

If your email account is an IMAP account when you delete email from the phone it is automatically deleted from the server.
