I have an Apple Watch (series 3, V 7.5), iPhone SE (V 14.6) subscribe to Spotify premium - when I attempt to download a playlist from Spotify I get as far as "downloading playlist <<name>> 1 of 50" and it just hangs there.
What am I doing wrong?

tried all of the steps recommended by Spotify. Still songs will not download.
It is still Spotify's software and service. Except for being hosted on the Apple Watch, all the rest is Spotify software. Suggest you contact Spotify Support.
