downloaded music does not play with no internet

hello! i have been struggling with the problem lately. i downloaded some music on my phone (i knew i would have to be without internet connection for a while)

my downloaded music somehow does not play. songs just start playing and then they stop on 0:15. right after they stop playing i can’t do anything in the app no more (i can’t change song or something), the app just freezes, could you advise what to do please? thank you in advance!

iPhone 7, iOS 14

It’s a known problem, several similar posts here. Hopefully, a fix is just around the corner but until then, to workaround, enable Cellular for Music and be sure to play only downloaded stuff when on the road.

Huh? The problem is exactly that you CAN'T play any downloaded music when in airplane mode or otherwise don't have an internet connection. It is in this exact situation that the song plays for 0:15 and stops. See the OP

So is they no permanent fix. Because honestly it’s making listening to music very unenjoyable and it keeps stopping at 0:15 or it just doesn’t play

Unbelievable. We are paying money to be able to listen to downloaded music without internet connection. If not, why download it?????!!!!!??
