Yes, those are well hidden notes in the manual...


Note: If you disabled paper configuration messages on your product control panel, you cannot use AirPrint. (page 45)

Note: If this setting is disabled, you cannot print over AirPrint. (page 85)

Hi,


An Epson WF-3820 is in fact mentioned in About AirPrint - Apple Support.


Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


The printer and the iPad must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If the configuration is correct, but it is not working, you may want to try this: Power off the router, the printer, the iPad, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the iPad. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.
