I have tried every trick I can find on the internet to solve the following problem - I am constantly told my computer is not authorized to play this song. I reauthorize and I get a screen saying this computer is authorized. I try to play the song AND

I am constantly and regularly getting the screen that says "This computer not authorized...." when trying to play a song I have purchased from itunes store.

I have downloaded the latest version.

I have followed instructions on User Account Controls.

I have removed the SC folder.

I have signed out and signed back in.

I am at the point of abandoning itunes all together. I bought an iphone years ago just for itunes! I still have an iphone.

I have no problems playing the same content on my phone!

Someone please help! I am at my wits end and I have purchased a LOT of itunes over the years and I can not access them now.

Repeated requests to authorize an already authorized computer for store downloads typically indicates you have corrupt or incomplete copies. Backup and then delete the tracks that won't play from your library without hiding from your purchase history. Redownload using the cloud links that should remain, or close iTunes and reopen if they don't show up straight away. While downloading click the activity widget and turn off the option that allows for simultaneous downloads.
