Sideways Apps

I have three apps that come up sideways on my iPad A1823. Is there a setting for this?

iPad Pro 10.5-inch, Wi-Fi, Cellular

Not all Apps support both Landscape and Portrait screen orientation. Screen orientation is determined by the App Developer - and some choose to force one or other orientation.


Additionally, some Apps principally designed for iPhone will use Portrait mode.


At present, iPadOS does not provide a facility or setting to override this limitation, but with iPadOS15 just around the corner, we are likely to see some changes in this arena.


In the meantime, if you have strong feelings as to screen orientation support, you should consider contacting the App Developer:
