Stolen iphone

Hi. My iphone was stolen long time ago. Of course I tried to block it in find_my_device as well.

2 days ago I got mail "Activation Lock prompts you to enter your password on your iPhone".

Does it mean that somebody is reconfiguring that device now?

Is it possible to check appleid of the new "owner" and report it to police?

Sounds to me like somebody is trying to get it working and is trying to trick you into giving them the information to do so.

You can't find out who is trying to do it.
