How do I change language on remote apple tv

The Siri input language is only supported for select major language(s) linked to select countries or regions, as described in: Use Siri on your Apple TV - Apple Support. It is linked to the interface language of the Apple TV.

The content language is independent of that. Change subtitles or languages for videos in the Apple TV app or iTunes Store - Apple Support

This is the first day I have been attempting to setup the 4K Apple TV device. When powered the unit goes directly to seri voice .

when attempting to make the English preferred language all is in Spanish? ...

I am unable to make any change?

As mentioned, it depends on your country or region, and the region for your Apple ID account (as set by the billing address). So what is your country or region?
