App Store and iTunes

Since updating to Big Sur 11.5.1 I have problems with the App Store and iTunes in music.

When I click the icon for the App store on my iMac all I get is the app window which is blank there are no apps displayed. The same happens when I click iTunes Store in music a blank page. My network settings are OK because both apps work on my iPad-air.

What Do I have to do to rectify this problem? Will I have to reinstall Big Sur?

We understand that when accessing the App Store and iTunes on your Mac, the applications are blank and not working as expected. We’d like to help.


If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services, here are some helpful suggestions to try out.


We would also advise starting up in safe mode to test if the issue continues there. Here’s How to use safe mode on your Mac.


Do you have Screen Time on your Mac enabled? Are you using any content restrictions? Take a look at Use Screen Time on your Mac to check if one of these settings is possibly preventing access to these services.
