Can I update my 2012 MacBook Pro model from 10.13.6 to 10.14.6? And how?

Compatibility:

You might be able to. You need a Mid 2012 or Later model See here: macOS Mojave - Technical Specifications - Apple Support


Important: Be certain to create a backup of your Mac prior to all of this. That way, you can have something to restore from the Mac from, should anything go wrong with the upgrade. Once upgraded, see if all is complete.


Once Backed Up, Proceed:

  1. Go Here: How to Get Old Versions of macOS - Apple Support
  2. Scroll to: Download macOS using Safari on your Mac
  3. Click: macOS Mojave 10.14
  4. Click: Get button
