Apple Music

When my Apple Music expired I didn't renew it for 2 days, no library now?

SO I've been using Apple Music for roughly a year now, and I didn't have the money spare to pay this month after a big holiday, so it had to wait a couple days until I could once again afford it, obviously it gives you a time period in which to pay it, but I couldn't until 2 days after my membership was cancelled...

When I finally managed to renew it, I was met with a problem...

on my Mac all my songs have been returned to my library, however on my iPhone XR , only my purchased songs are there... Any Apple Music playlists are still there, but they are empty...

how do I restore all of those songs back onto my iPhone?

I've already enabled my iCloud Library again, and Apple Music but no luck!!

iPhone XR, iOS 14

Sorry, once you cancel your subscription or let it expire, there is no guarantee if or for how long your music library will be retained after the billing cycle ends. I am afraid you will have to start from scratch.

PS - I don't work for Apple, I'm just a user like you.
