I am not able to get my Facetime working even after doing all this. Could you please help!

Is the iPhone refurbished , do you have correct credentials to sign in with Apple ID , or you have signed out Apple ID and then lost the credentials , or is there any passcode that is also forgotten , any activation lock it all depends on the credentials .
