I am unable to download Mac Os Big Sur 11.5.1 update to my MacBook pro.

I am unable to download this update Mac Os Big Sur 11.5.1 to my MacBook pro. I keep getting the message "download failed. Check you are connected to the internet" even though I am connected to the internet??

Can anyone help?

The server is showing no issue: https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

If your download speed is suspect try a faster Network, get closer to the router if WiFi, etc.

Disable any VPN or Proxy servers you are using

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus

Power Cycle your router

You can try your download update from a Safe Boot if necessary  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

I have the same issue as above. I am on a Mac Book Pro 15" late 2013 operation Big Sur 11.4 currently. Get the same message as above when trying to upgrade to Bs 11.5.2. I am on ethernet cable. Not running VPN and have disabled firewall. It goes thru the download, says it is installing etc. then at end get the message download failed. check internet connection or sometimes just failed. Most time internet connection failed. Have they discontinued support for the 15" Mac Book Pro late 2013?

Thanks.

I posted on this earlier today as I was having a similar issue with Big Sur 11.5.2 updating on a MacBook Pro 15" late 2013. I decided to reboot my MacBook after turning off VPN and security. After restart the download worked. I think security had blocked access to my camera and there appears to be a need for the update to access the camera to install the download. Problem fixed.

I am unable to download Mac Os Big Sur 11.5.1 update to my MacBook pro.
