Imac Admin User Profile

Well I'm not sure if I need to log in on the profile I am deleting, or the other one;

but when I go in, I unlock the padlock, click on the user name, but the minus sign is not highlighted - so I can't click on it to delete the profile.

I had to log out as admin first - then, log in on my other profile.
