hi, i have an old iphone 7 which i have forgotten the passcode for.. is there a way i can clear the phone and reset it for gift to someone else

I have lost the passcode to an old iphone 7 which i wish to gift to a friend. Can I reset this and clear the phone before giving it away?

You need a computer and the Apple ID password that it is activated with and it will wipe the phone
