Older MacBook Air

I am wondering if there is any way to update a MacBook Air from 2011? I have a newer model but I love the size of this older one.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and click on High Sierra. It's not capable of Mojave or newer.

If you're referring to something other than the OS, only if a newer version will run in High Sierra.
