No, it does not hurt the battery.


The only concern I would have is to make sure you're not kinking the power cord. It won't damage the phone or the battery but it could shorten the life of the cord.

Hi! Most iPhones are built to fast charge upto 80% and then trickle charge from 81%. It is up to you to decide whether you need to use or not use your phone while it is charging. I'd personally not recommend using it for use until it is atleast charged to 80%. This is however my personal opinion. Hope this helps!
