iPhone ios 14.7.1 Safari crashing

“The webpage was reloaded.” “A problem repeatedly occurred.” These old, familiar crashes seem to resolve themselves sometimes. But in the past few weeks they’re back. I can’t read any webpages, news sites, or even search pages —all crash.

I’ve tried turning off all the settings, restarting, etc. BTW, what’s the point of providing settings that don’t work??

iPhone 7, ios 14.7.1, Safari.

(I’m upgrading my phone soon, and considering non-Apple brands since I’ve encountered so many crashes that my Android friends don’t seem to have.)
