Burning CD issues using iTunes/AppleMusic

I have a playlist made of purchased songs from iTunes and the "burn playlist to disc" does not light up. I have carefully followed all of the steps, authorized my computer etc. and it still doesn't work. Any thoughts?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.4

Hi,

Have you downloaded the tracks? If the tracks are from Apple Music rather than iTunes Store, you will not be able to burn them to CD.
