I recently acquired a 2020 Macbook air that was previously used by someone else. Though I am listed as the only user/ admin, her name still comes up in places, such as when I open system preferences and click on Apple ID it says the device I am using is "Previous owner's Air 13""
I searched the forums and found some threads with fixes for earlier Mac's, but so far those fixes won't work.

You really DO need to get it completely “off” the previous owners AppleID - and “onto” yours as a matter of some urgency.
