Battery issue

I bought my MacBook Pro in 2020. I have only had this laptop for a year and I am already having battery issues. I went to turn my laptop on today and it wouldn't work. I plugged it in and it says the battery isn't functioning correctly and only works if it is on the charger, but its not charging. It stays at 1%. I am a college student and desperately need my laptop right now. Is there anyway to fix this without servicing it?

If your Mac battery status is “Not Charging”

If the battery in your 2016 or 2017 MacBook Pro won't charge past 1%—

The battery health status on these devices will also indicate "Service Recommended."
