I open the the iCloud control panel on my win10 PC tick the iCloud Drive selection and click the apply button. The iCloud Drive then deselects. All the other choices, photos, passwords, etc., remain selected. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling iCloud but no go. I am at a loss as to what to do. On all my other Apple devices iCloud Drive functions correctly. Note the iCloud Drive had been functioning correctly on my PC.

I have tried everything including the steps listed in "Set up and use iCloud for Windows". Still no go. I'm not going to waste anymore time on this problem. I'll just use the Google extension for iCloud. At least that works. Thanks for the suggestions.

If so, and the issue still occurs, what happens when you try setting up a new user? Add or remove accounts on your PC

Also, have you checked to see if your security programs may be having a conflict with the app?
