Why is my phone storage still full of I purchased more storage space and I backed up my phone?

You cannot purchase more space on your phone. It will always have the amount of storage space it came with. You have purchased space in iCloud, Apple's synching service. The only way to gain space on your phone is to delete photos, messages, apps, etc.. Be sure to save important data to your computer or an external drive. Check these links...
