My iPhone 6S plus shows the version 12.5.4 and that it is up to date. Automatic updates are on but it will not update How can I update it?

That means you have an iPhone 6 Plus, not a 6S plus. To verify go to Settings/General/About and read the Model Name.

Are you certain it isn't a 6Plus rather than a 6S Plus? Go to Settings > General > About > Model Name to check. a 6Plus cannot be updated beyond 12.5.4 but a 6S Plus can.

Of course, a 6S would never be on 12.5.4; which is a security update from 12.5.3 or earlier. If the phone had been updated and it was a 6S it would have gone directly to iOS 14.

Except JackieNutrifit doesn’t have a 6S, it’s a 6 Plus.
