How can I update a late 2010 MacBook Pro to the latest OS? Are there incremental updates I can find out here on the Web?

MacBook Pro 17″, macOS 10.12

The latest MacOS supported on that model is 10.13 High Sierra. it is too old to run later versions.


Be sure you have a Trusted Backup before you do anything. Installing this UPGRADE will re-write more than 350,000 files, and there is no "unDo". If your drive is having issues, this could very well push it over the cliff into failure.
