My husband has mini mac I have iPhone--how can I only get messages on my iPhone and not on mini mac?

Hello and Welcome to Apple Support Communities,

Sounds like you need to disable Text message forwarding to do so follow these instructions:

On your iPhone go to Settings>Messages>Text Message Forwarding > and you can toggle your husbands Mac mini off the list.
