Flexgate with MacBook Pro 2016 15“ Model

Hi all,


why isn’t the MacBook Pro 2016 15” model still included in the warranty program for the

Flexgate issue? Why is Apple ignoring this issue for other MacBook Pro models,

in my case the 15” 2016 model?

I am very disappointed that Apple won’t help although this is an obvious design flaw and

the MacBook Pro cost me a lot of money (2700EUR). They only want to replace the

display for 760 EUR. That is inacceptable for such an expensive product.


This cannot be the quality standard apple stand for, right? I hope the community can

help me and recommend further steps regarding this issue. I did some research

and I’m not the only one with this issue for the MacBook Pro 2016 15” model.

If Apple continues not helping me and other customers with this issue, this will be the last Apple

product I will ever buy.
