I spoke to the local Vodaphone shop but not good so here is the issue:- I have a new iphone 7 and the keyboard is set on UK English but the spacebar has the word "nafasi" on it and the return bar has " Kuridi" on it - how do I change this to english please?

Try going to settings > keyboard > keyboards and making sure that there is only one item on the list, which is called English (UK).
Nafasi on the space bar indicates the Swahili keyboard may be active by mistake.
