Tried to update this but was always stuck on the reboot apple icon and the progress bar is stuck.
Can someone help me here, please?
I cannot even do multitasking gestures from the trackpad anymore. Is it something Apple has stopped in the new release?

The Security Update is " stuck on the reboot " - shutdown computer and restart in Safe Mode Shift key immediately at restart. Keep holding until the Apple Logo is presented and then release. This mode will do a repair disk, clean cache files and eliminate all third party software, extensions and fonts from loading - so boot slowly - normal. Hopefully, this will allow the Security Update to complete.
