Icons appearing twice on desktop

I have a MacBook Air running Big Sur and icons on the desktop appear twice now. When I try to interact with the clones, I can't do anything with it.

Example here ⬇️

P.S. I know how to fix it:

Just log out

But I want to see if its possible to fix sometime soon.

You have the original folder and then you have created an alias folder the alias has the little arrow bottom left.

Drag the aliases to the Trash and empty the Trash.
