I have 2 iPads for my kids each have a separate Apple ID. But when I created them I had to use my birthdate. I want to use the family sharing so I can monitor there usage but it won’t let me use the existing apple ids

What happens when you try when you try to invite them to your Family Sharing plan? Error message(s)?
Have you tried changing the birth date on the kid's Apple ID to make the birth date their real birth date?
