Genuine ThunderBolt displays can be supported using the Apple ThunderBolt-2 <-> Thunderbolt-3 adapter (and a genuine Thunderbolt cable on the appropriate side, if it does not have a captive ThunderBolt-2 cable).


No other types of displays are supported by this adapter, so if its actually a Mini DisplayPort display, it will NOT work.
