Reduce iCloud storage

I recently erased over 900 unwanted photos after it increased my cloud storage, does iCloud automatically reduce the package and premium when the extra storage is no longer required?

iCloud does not automatically increase or decrease your subscription. You can learn about the subscriptions in this support article and choose the one which is appropriate for your needs. The highest iCloud+ tier is also part of the Apple One subscription bundle if you choose to consolidate your subscriptions.
