Apple Watch 6 fall detection false-positives

Every day when I carefully put on my socks, sitting, standing, or leaning against the wall, I am asked if I am OK and whether I have fallen. Is there any way to adjust the fall-detection function so it is not so sensitive? I'm 74 years old and am beginning to be a little unsteady, so I bought this Apple Watch Series 6 for that reason, but it has never detected a real fall, but I get a lot of false positives. Seems like an expensive experiment if it doesn't work.

All you can do is turn Fall Detection on or off. There are no adjustments. For more info, see:
