Apple watch still won’t unlock iPhone with mask

My new iPhone 13 pro will not unlock with my Apple Watch 6. My phone iOS is 15.0.2 and watchOS is 8.0.1

Apple watch 6 not unlocking iphone 12 I had an Apple watch 3 and was using it to unlock my iphone 12 with a mask on. I upgraded to a 6 and it will no longer work to unlock my phone with my watch. The settings are correct on phone and watch. I removed the 3 from the watch app, I restarted the 6, I unpaired and repaired.. still nothing.

Make sure both your devices are up to date.

Make sure both devices share the same Apple Id and are connected together.

If it were me I'd toggle Unlock with Apple watch off

Then reboot both devices

Then toggle Unlock with Apple watch back on.
