Set Focus setting per device

When iOS 15 was released, it introduced new Focus features. When I turn on Do Not Disturb on one device, it sets it on ALL my devices. While some may find this helpful, I find it annoying. When I’m working on my ipad or drawing or my husband is using the iPad to play games, I like to turn on DND on that device alone. I can still get calls and texts on my iPhone and watch, but I just don’t want those on my iPad at that time.

I know I can set different notification settings, but I do like to have all my notifications on my iPad sometimes, but not all the time, and DND was the easiest way to fix that. Any other suggestions?

In Settings > Focus, turn off Share Across Devices and see if that helps.
