I do that and when I put the password in the App Store it still won’t work even when I reset the password pls help me

When I go to the App Store and I want to update an app it says to sign I put the password and it says it’s incorrect even if I reset the password also when it tells me to put my phone number and the verification code again and if I put them again it says verification failed an unknown error occurred. Can you help me?

After resetting the password, have you tried signing out of the App Store/iTunes, restarting the device, and then signing back in?

For the verification, do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try?

Was this app purchased with a different Apple ID? if so, it will need that ID to update it. Check if it's in your purchase history.

If you still have problems:


Contact Apple. Click here --> https://support.apple.com/choose-country-region Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
