Probability on external midi tracks?

Hi all, I wonder if it's possible to add probability to an external midi track, I know how to do it on an instrument track, but I need to send generative notes to an external synth... Thanks for your advice :)

This should be possible with Midi FX > Scripter. You can search the internet, if someone has already written a script that you are looking for. Although it's not a real probability, you can check out the common Midi FX like Randomizer, Modulator... and combine them to get a kind of probabilty result.

Edit:

Do you know the free third party plugin stochas? it's also available as AU-Plugin.

Hello again, I finally found a solution:

the External Instrument plug-in can route the MIDI data out of your MIDI FX plug-ins back to the input of Logic and to an external MIDI track.

You need to create a an IAC Bus in Audio MIDI setup and choose that bus as a destination in the external instrument plug-in.

Record arm the desired external instrument track and press record!
