Can Playlist be copied to USB flash drive and maintain file/folder structure?

This question hasn't been asked in many years so here it goes:

I want to access music from a USB drive in my car. I'd like to maintain the file/folder structure of the music files so the player knows what albums contain which tracks.

I've got a playlist defined per my requirements in the Music app. How can I move the associated files and folders to the drive? Drag/drop just gets me the files and not the folders.
