How do I get my settings app back in my IPad

Perhaps you have moved your settings icon to the Dock - or to an App Folder on another Home Screen?

You should be able to locate any App using the Search function. Touch any empty space on any Home Screen - avoiding App/folder icons and screen corners/edges. Swiping downwards will expose the Search dialogue. Just type “Settings” in the Search box:

You can find the Settings app by swiping down on the Home screen, which should open Search. From there, you can search for Settings.
