free apple tv also for my home television?

I opened the apple tv plus app on my new macbook pro for the three months free but hoped to watch on my home television. is that included/possible to do?

Yes. Once you have activated the subscription, it is available on any of your devices with the Apple TV app, when signed in with the Apple ID account that has the subscription.
