How to set up Incoming email on new iPhone Mini 12 ? Outgoing is working !

If incoming emails are not working. There might be issue with incoming server. Try to remove account and add it back.

Settings> mail > accounts

Select account and then remove account.

Then add it back.

Settings> mail > accounts > add account.

If it will not solve issue. See if your email is working fine on any other device or website.

Thank you Milan for your quick reply.

Email works fine on iPad, Desktop MAC, and older iPhone XR.

The problem exists only on NEW iPhone 12 Mini. Messaging works but not Mail. I did what you recommended about 3 times. I still get a prompt that says " NO password provided for Gmail " ? How can I set up a different account ?

Hi manny. When you see no password provided for gmail.

Indicates that you hv set up new iphone from icloud backup.

You have to go to settings-mail-accounts.

See if you have option like Re-enter password for gmail in blue color. If so you have to enter password for gmail there.

Yes Apple Store tried to set up new phone from iCloud backup.

No Option for Re-Enter gmail in Blue color.

I just went to ADD NEW ACCOUNT, put in all imap and smtp c/w password. Still tells me NO Password for Gmail. ?

Thank you so much. I guess when you are nearly 80 years old, simple fixes aren't obvious.
