Connecting two MacBooks and using one as external Display of the Other
Hi,
since a while now I have two MacBooks (air) which I can connect to my Apple TV (with Airplay and Display Mirroring) an external Monitor (through a Thunderbolt or USB C cable) But I never was able to connect the two MacBook Air´s with each other. I assumed this was something Apple did not want to, so I would buy a Apple TV. Until Monterey! They advertised the new OS by boasting about the new ability to connect two Mac´s through Airplay now! All solved, I was hoping, finally I can use my two MacBooks in Conjunction, one as a external display!
Updated my OS to Monterey, and: I still don't get the option to connect the two and use one of the two as external monitor? How do I activate this function. Surely now with the M1 (Both my MacBook Airs are M1´s) there is no technical limitation so where did Apple hide the button to make this work. Someone has a solution?
