Hi Clintntshingila

Welcome to the Apple Community,

where some of us do our best to help each other troubleshoot.

Sometimes, it can be a good idea to update an iPhone to the latest compatible iOS.

Seems your iPhone may not have enough storage available for the songs you are downloading ?

Apple's support article: "How to check the storage on your iPhone"

Says: "If your device is low on storage,

it automatically frees up space :

      • while installing an app,
      • updating iOS or iPadOS,
      • downloading music,
      • recording videos, and more".

Complete article: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201656

If your iPhone is low on available storage,

you may want to back up your iPhone,

before deleting any unnecessary or large files (eg: movies).:
